Autumn Sunrise over the Middle Fork of Bishop Creek Canyon, Inyo National Forest
I photographed this scene on my annual fall trip to the Sierra in October 2024. One afternoon, my friend Jonathan and I spotted a bluff which appeared to provide a good vantage point of the canyon below. We climbed up the bluff and found this view. After photographing it in decent afternoon light, we decided to return in the morning in the hopes of pairing the scene with some strong alpenglow. This morning turned out to be stormier than anticipated, though the sun managed to cast a warm glow on the far-off peaks of Sabrina Basin.
Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for production and shipping of the print.
