Aspen Leaves Below a Granite Facade, Bishop Creek Canyon
I photographed this scene on my annual fall trip to the Sierra in October 2024. I had previously photographed at this location the year before, but had not been satisfied with my results. I returned again this year and found these aspen trees rising just above the forest canopy. Their bright yellow leaves contrasted nicely with the cool tones of the granite wall behind them.
