Fall Storm Light on Mono Lake Tufas
I photographed this scene along the shore of Mono Lake in October 2024 at the tail end of a stormy day. I had first found this composition in February 2024, but I arrived at the scene after the light had faded. On this occasion, the golden glow of storm light against the tufa formations provided a nice contrast with the blue skies and white clouds far off in the distance.
