Cascades beneath Picture Peak, Sabrina Basin, Inyo National Forest
I photographed this scene in August 2024 on a backpacking trip into Sabrina Basin with my friend Courtney. I had spent a good chunk of the previous afternoon looking for a set of cascades which aligned perfectly with Picture Peak. Late in the day, I finally found this small stream, and decided to return the next morning to photograph the scene at first light.
