Lenticular Cloud over Mono Lake Tufas, Eastern Sierra
I photographed this scene during a February 2022 trip to the Eastern Sierra. A winter storm due to arrive the next day created some stunning lenticular clouds over the east side of the Sierra Nevada. The tufa towers along the shore of Mono Lake provided the perfect backdrop for the clouds as they caught some of the last light of the day.
