Tufa Reflection in Morning Twilight, Mono Lake
I photographed this scene in a February 2024 trip to the Eastern Sierra. On this quiet morning, I hiked down to the South Tufa area of Mono Lake to photograph sunrise. Just before the sun rose, I spotted this lone tufa formation close to the shoreline and saw the perfectly still waters beneath it.
